London & Paris (Winter 2010)
Big BenHappy New Year

Today, I finally stopped procrastinating and uploaded the rest of my pictures from my London/ Paris trip. It was my first time out of the country and I had a lot of fun. I was fortunate to be able to see a lot during my week and a half stay with my girlfriend and her mother and I look forward to making another trip to both cities.

Getting around was as easy as reading a map. The only difficulty I had was not knowing the holiday schedule since I was there during Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Years. I rode a double decker which was fun because I didn't feel like a tourist. The MetroCard equivalent works more like a key fob than card but it gets the job done. The pricing can be a little confusing moving from zone to zone but as I said, reading a map makes it easy.

November Come & Gone

The month was spent enjoying my new home theater set up (I'll upload pics soon) and building my blu-ray collection. This month also saw the release of two great games; Modern Warfare 2 and Left 4 Dead 2. Both games offer incredible experiences. There was controversy about a level in MW2 where your character plays an undercover CIA agent that infiltrates a terrorist group. Your mission while in the terrorist group is to slaughter a lot of civilians in a Russian airport. The level is pivotal in the progression of the story. But besides that, it is a videogame! RANT: I am tried of people getting up in arms about such things. Everyone has the ability to monitor their children appropriate or at least explain the differences between pixelated violence and real violence... Rant over.

I have also enjoyed the company of my "honey" and buddy.

The holidays are around the corner but I am not in any type of festive mood. The holidays seem so forced and routine. And the overt commercialism makes me ill. I am looking forward to a week off from work though. (^_^)

Me and the guys decided to dress up as the survivors from Left 4 Dead. Ern was constantly mistaken for Che Guevara. Mad props to George for going as Zoey and to Rio for making the pipe bombs. Thankfully, no one was arrested.
